HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - A Tennessee man, who was wanted in Huntsville, Ala., was arrested in Hattiesburg Tuesday night.

According to the Hattiesburg Police Department, 55-year-old Marcus Slater of Clarksville, Tenn. was arrested in the 800 block of Broadway Drive.

Slater was arrested on an active warrant issued by the Madison County, Alabama Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear in court on a drug-related charge.

HPD said he was also charged with possession of paraphernalia when he was arrested
