Just in time for Christmas, the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority will host their signature "Pink Market" to promote women-owned businesses in the Pine Belt.
The night ended with the lighting of a Christmas tree at the front of campus.
The Petal Police Department was anonymously given $250 to spread holiday cheer. Following the donor’s wishes, they split it up between five different people.
Giving back to the college benefits students through scholarships, hardship assistance, and classroom modifications.
