Electric cooperatives companies prepare for hurricane season

Employees of a national wood products company became volunteers for Habitat for Humanity Friday.

Companies in the Pine Belt gathered Thursday morning, for the annual Electric Cooperative Media day held at the Southern Pine Electric headquarters.

Fuel and fertilizer prices continue to rise, and the agriculture business is feeling the effects.
