Local food banks struggle with COVID-19 surge

People who live in Hattiesburg will be able to talk with city leaders at an upcoming meeting in regard to the Hercules site.

Aquandria Harris will host a “Pop Up for Lupus” event Saturday at Town Square Park from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Laurel Main Street will be hosting its “Wine Down Downtown” Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Each lantern created will be taken to Japan to be released during the 2022 Hiroshima Lantern Floating Ceremony.

A few drivers in the Pine Belt voiced their frustration with the prices.

The University of Southern Mississippi Association of Office Professionals and the Sigma Alpha Lambda organization will be collecting canned goods for the Wesley Foundation’s Pantry Plus.
