One Tank Trip: CIRCOVIA at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino

BILOXI, MS (WDAM) - Summer is finally here, which means many people will be out traveling to get to their favorite vacation spots. Vacations can be expensive, so we at WDAM decided to fill up the Storm Tracker and embark on an adventure to find places you and your family can enjoy summer without breaking the bank.

Our first stop on our "One Tank Trip" was the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, where they have something for each person in the family. Particularly, we were interested in their new summer show called CIRCOVIA, which is a cirque-style production featuring gravity-defying aerialists and acrobats from around the world.

We were blown away at the talent on display, and this is certainly a show that you do not want to miss. The show was produced exclusively for MGM Resorts International by DreamCast Entertainment, so you won't get to see this action anywhere else. The show runs from June 9 to August 7 at the Beau Rivage Theatre.

Among some of the amazing feats you will see are daredevils catapulting up to 30 feet in the air to perform quintuple somersaults, identical twin aerialists flying over the audience on aerial straps suspended from the ceiling and the Titanic Tulga, a descent of the legendary Genghis Khan dynasty, demonstrating an awesome display of human dexterity as he juggles 16-pound bowling balls and whirls cumbersome telephone poles with jaw-dropping power.

Performances are 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

A family four-pack of tickets can be purchased for $40 mid-week, and active duty and retired military can enjoy four tickets for $30 every Monday during the show's run with a valid military ID. CIRCOVIA room packages start at $129 plus tax and fees, and include deluxe accommodations and two tickets to the show. CIRCOVIA ticket holders can also take advantage of resort-wide specials from June 9 to August 7, including food & beverage, retail and arcade. Ticket holders can receive 15 percent off regular-priced merchandise in The Promenade Shops when presenting CIRCOVIA stub and double winning tickets in the Arcade, up to 500 tickets, with a voucher.

After you see the show, we found that there are plenty of other ways to enjoy the resort, no matter your age.

There are several restaurants to choose from, including BR Rime, The Buffet, Stalla, Coast Seafood & Brew, Terrace Cafe and more. Children 12 and under eat free at The Buffet with the purchase of an adult buffet. Guests receive 15 percent off total bill at BR Prime, Jia, Stalla, Coast Seafood & Brew and Terrace Cafe when presenting CIRCOVIA ticket stub.

The Beau also features a few nightlife spots where adults can grab a drink and enjoy live entertainment.

For kids (and adults), the Beau Rivage Arcade is packed with fun games and prizes including Pac Man, air hockey and skee-ball. You can also "plunge into paradise" or catch some rays at the Beau Rivage pool.
