Gulfport man cleared in 2015 shooting death at Club Memories

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A Gulfport man was cleared of a murder charge in the 2015 shooting death of a Collins 17-year-old outside a Hattieburg nightclub.
According to District Attorney Patricia Burchell, the case was presented to a grand jury and Arthur Jones Jr. was cleared of his murder charge in the 2015 shooting death of Jabarri Goudy, which occurred in the parking lot of Club Memories in Hattiebsurg.
Police said the shooting occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 5, 2015, in the parking lot of the nightclub, which was located at located at 1720 North 31stAvenue before shutting down. Police were called to the Forrest General emergency room after Goudy had arrived in a private vehicle, and he later died from his injuries.
Four people were initially arrested and charged in the shooting.
Arthur Jones Jr., of Gulfport, was charged with murder, after a presentation of the case to the grand jury, he was cleared of the charge according to Forrest-Perry County District Attorney Patricia Burchell.
Montrelle Lee, of Gulfport, was charged with accessory after the fact, he was also cleared of the charge after the case was presented to a grand jury.
Keith Lee, of Gulfport, was charged with accessory after the fact, he was also cleared of the charge after the case was presented to a grand jury.
Nijah Gray-Lane, of Biloxi, was charged with hindering prosecution, and was also cleared of the charge after the case was presented to a grand jury.
A fifth suspect, Stokes Wells, was later arrested and charged with hindering the prosecution.
Still charged:
In June 2017, Andreco Deshun Guston, of Heidelberg, was indicted by a grand jury for his role in the shooting. Guston was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
