Prostitution sting leads to 3 arrests in Hub City

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Three women face charges for prostitution in the Hub City.
Forrest County investigators arrested Shontee Thomas, Chantea Rosser and Beulah Smith Friday night.
All three are charged with prostitution.
The women were arrested during an undercover sting at a Hattiesburg motel.
According to Commander Phillip Hendricks, an undercover officer set up meetings with the women through the website backpage.com.

Rosser is no stranger to law enforcement.
She has an extensive criminal history, including arrests for prostitution in six other states.
Thomas and Smith are from the Jackson area.
Hendricks said their arrests are part of larger operation to stop human trafficking in the Pine Belt.
