HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Hundreds of Southern Miss students, faculty, administrators and alumni gathered Friday morning to dedicate the university's new home for the College of Business.
A ribbon was cut to officially open Scianna Hall.
The $34 million facility has 93,000 square feet of space and includes the latest technology for students.
It is named in honor of Chuck Scianna, a USM graduate who donated $6 million to the project.
Scianna and Gov. Phil Bryant spoke during the ceremony.
