Lawrence enters race for new judicial seat

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A second candidate enters the race for a new circuit court judgeship in Forrest and Perry Counties.
Charles Lawrence, who retired recently as DON city attorney, qualified to run today.
He joins former District Attorney Jon Mark Weathers in the running. Other contacts have until June 1st to qualify for this race – which will be an addition to the seat held by Judge Bob Helfrich.
