Perkins qualifies for Forrest County supervisor race

FORREST COUNTY (WDAM) - Forrest County resident Ronnie Perkins qualified Monday morning to run for the District 4 seat on the Forrest County Board of Supervisors.
Perkins, who is running as an Independent, will run against Dist. 4 incumbent Rod Woullard.
Perkins is serving his second term as a Forrest County School District Board member and first term as a member of the Forrest County Agricultural High School Board of Trustees.
In a prepared statement, he said "we have great communities within this district, and I want to help propel us to a higher level."
