Michael is excited to be back in Mississippi and to join the Pine Belt community as the evening anchor for WDAM.
He comes to the Hub City area from Birmingham where he worked as an anchor and a one-man-band reporter who shot, edited and presented stories for daily newscasts.
In Birmingham, Michael covered deadly tornadoes, flooding, and hurricanes. He also reported on a variety of issues including courts and crime, education, environmental issues, and other stories that impacted people in central Alabama.
As an Ole Miss alum, he is no stranger to the Magnolia State and all that it has to offer. Prior to Birmingham, Michael also made stops in Biloxi, Lubbock, Memphis, and Charlotte.
Michael and his wife moved to the Pine Belt with their labrador retriever and can't wait to check out all of the restaurants, shops, and entertainment the area has to offer.
News coverage should always revolve around issues that impact people and communities.
If you have an idea, feel free to send Michael an email or a message through his social media pages.
