Hello, my name is Branden Walker. I was born and raised in Pearl, Mississippi, and I graduated from Pearl High School in 2013.
I then went on to William Carey University, where I graduated in 2018 with a double major in Mass Communications/News Media and Intercultural Studies. I am now working on a Weather Certification at Mississippi State University online.
During my time at William Carey, I had the opportunity to intern at WDAM for a year under Nick Lilja, Patrick Bigbie and Rex Thompson as a weather intern. I’ve also interned at the National Weather Service in Jackson.
