LAUREL, Miss. (WDAM) - Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Brandon Presley stopped in Laurel Monday at Providence Baptist Church.

Community members and church leaders talked with Presley one-on-one about his plans for Mississippi. Presley says that he has visited all counties in the state before the election, but he isn’t stopping there.

“We feel good, we think that we’re going to win come November the 7th,” said Presley. “The energy that we see around our campaign, you can just feel it. We’ve been in all counties in Mississippi, all 82.”

“We’re ready to make 55 more stops between now and election day and we’re not going to slow down, we’re only going to speed up. We’re out talking to voters in communities large and small about bringing hope back to state government and a breath of fresh air.”

Presley also stopped in Hattiesburg later in the evening.
