LAUREL, Miss. (WDAM) - The Laurel Police Department is searching for a man wanted for a fatal hit-and-run that happened in November.

According to Chief Tommy Cox, Anthony Kirk, 50, is wanted for one count of leaving the scene of an accident causing death. The victim is identified as Jerry Dean Coleman, 65, of Laurel.

Cox says the accident happened Nov. 25 on Palmer Avenue. He says the suspect vehicle is believed to be a Honda Civic, 1997 or newer model, with damage to the passenger front.
