WAYNESBORO, Miss. (WDAM) - Emergency crews responded to a fire at a plant in Waynesboro on Wednesday night.
The Waynesboro Fire Department responded to the blaze at the Scotch Plywood mill just after 6 p.m.
It took WFD and other volunteer fire departments more than two hours to put out the flames.
Officials said the veneer mill is considered a complete loss.
No injuries have been reported.
The fire is under investigation, but emergency crews have not entered the building yet due to it being structurally unsound.
The Waynesboro Police Department, Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, and EMS crews from Wayne General Hospital also responded to the fire.
