MOUNT OLIVE, Miss. (WDAM) - You have just four more days to see a unique traveling exhibit on small-town USA that’s on display in Mount Olive.
“Crossroads: Change in Rural America” is a free exhibit sponsored by the Smithsonian Institution.
It’s been housed at the Mount Olive Volunteer Fire Department since Oct. 30. It wraps up Saturday.
Organizers say so far, about 350 people have dropped by to visit the exhibit.
And they say the next few days could be the busiest yet.
“We’re gonna have some school groups coming and they’re going to be touring the exhibit and have an opportunity to see what’s in their past, so hopefully, they’ll enjoy it,” said Sandra Boyd, exhibit director.
Boyd says after Saturday, the exhibit will be in storage for a few weeks, before moving on to the town of Scooba in Kemper County.
