Inmate serving 30 years dies in Parchman hospital

WINSTON CO., Miss. (WLBT) - An inmate serving 30 years for assaulting two people in Winston County died Thursday morning at the hospital at the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman.
Lamar Kitchens, 61, was sentenced for two counts of aggravated assault in November 2008.
No foul play is suspected in his death.
An autopsy will determine the official cause and the manner of death.
