Hattiesburg armed robbery suspect turns himself in

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - Hattiesburg police say a man wanted for armed robbery turned himself in on Saturday.

Hattiesburg Police Department spokesman Ryan Moore said 44-year-old Richard Earl Mays turned himself in after having an active warrant for an armed robbery that occurred on May 11 at Title Cash.

Moore said Mays was booked into the Forrest County Jail.
