HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - On May 4, one of the largest sporting events in the country will take place in Lousiville, KY. The Kentucky Derby is known as the "most exciting two minutes in sports."
Supporters of The Arc in Hattiesburg are bringing the event to the Pine Belt through an afternoon Kentucky Derby party called Race for the Roses where fans can watch the event live and participate in a lot of fun activities. Join us at The Barn at Bridlewood from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The Arc is important to southeast Mississippi and it is a great nonprofit organization that provides support for hundreds of individuals and families across multiple counties. The Arc relies on contributions. Supporters from across the communities that The Arc serves got together this year and put together this event. All of the proceeds go directly to The Arc.
