LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - Downtown Laurel was busy for the Community Bank Downtown Crawfest.
The event is a crawfish cook-off.
Teams from all over competed to see whose mudbugs were the best. Organizers say this event was all about bringing the community together.
"We just know the south loves crawfish and we love to put something on that Jones County and Laurel would enjoy. People can come in and just have a great time and spend time together in this great city,” Nicki Hudson, Business Development Officer for Community Bank.
There were more than 100 people at the event.
