FORREST COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Two men have been charged with growing marijuana in Forrest County.

Hattiesburg Police Department spokesman Ryan Moore said Metro Narcotics agents and the Mississippi Department of Corrections, Forrest County Sheriff’s deputies and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics arrested two men Wednesday for growing marijuana at a home on Browns Bridge Road.

Caleb Hanks, 36, was charged with manufacturing/growing marijuana and possession of a controlled substance (hydrochloride).

Joseph Palermo, 36, was charged with manufacturing/growing marijuana.

Authorities seized multiple plants and hydrochloride pills.
