McClain man sentenced for trafficking meth

GREENE COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A McClain man was sentenced Friday to more than 23 years in federal prison on a drug charge.

U.S. Attorney Mike Hurst and FBI Special Agent in Charge Christopher Freeze announced that 38-year-old Darnell Antonio Mills was sentenced to 278 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

Mills pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in December 2018. According to a Department of Justice news release, Mills sold methamphetamine to a confidential source on several occasions and sold over 600 grams of high quality meth.
