7th Annual Caerus Parade rolls down Hardy Street

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -Floats, beads and party music were all part of a Fat Tuesday parade in Hattiesburg that took place Saturday despite the threat of rain.

The 7th Annual Caerus Mardi Gras Parade featured the USM Golden Eagle cheerleaders, the Honey Island Clydesdales and floats from organizations like Southern Pines Animal Shelter and the Hub City Humane Society.

It began on the service road along Highway 49 at the USM campus and made its way west on Hardy Street. It turned north on 38th Avenue and ended at Morningside Drive.
