Petal woman charged with Dollar General embezzlement

PETAL, MS (WDAM) - A Petal woman is behind bars facing embezzlement charges.

Lora Lynn Clark, 42, allegedly stole an undetermined amount of money from her employer, a Dollar General store along Hwy 42 in Petal.

Police said when they arrived to arrest Clark, she was packing up and heading for Texas.

Authorities said Clark confessed to the crime. 

She is in Forrest County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
