Laurel molestation suspect held on $100,000 bond

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - A Laurel man accused of molesting a 5-year-old boy made his initial appearance in justice court today (Thursday).

Earl English, 26, appeared before Justice Court Judge Wesley Rushing on one felony count of lewd molestation.

A $100,000 cash bond was set, and English was remanded to the Jones County Detention Center pending bond.

English was arrested Wednesday after police received complaints from a neighbor claiming English had molested their son.

English is originally from Arkansas, but has been living in Laurel for the past year.
