A two-car accident in Petal Thursday left one woman with minor injuries and a vehicle stuck in a building.The accident occurred at around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 42 and Old Corinth Road.
An eastbound vehicle was preparing to make a left turn when it was hit by another vehicle traveling westbound. The westbound vehicle left the road and crashed through the front window of an unoccupied boutique.A Petal police official said one or both of the drivers may have been distracted by a disturbance in a nearby parking lot.
The driver of the vehicle which hit the store was taken to Forrest General Hospital.
The other driver was apparently uninjured.
