Canadian National Guard training at Camp Shelby

More than 1,800 Canadian soldiers are again spending part of their winter undergoing various types of military training in the warmer weather in Misissippi.

Reserve soldiers from the 34th and 35th brigades, mostly from the province of Quebec, have been at Camp Shelby for about a week, honing their combat, reconnaissance and negotiation skills.

It is the third year for the Canadians to train in Mississippi.
