Hattiesburg offers Christmas tree recycling

If you have already starting taking down Christmas decorations in the Hattiesburg area, the city is offering locations for dropping off trees.

The city will turn old trees into mulch for the city's beautification projects.

The trees can be dropped off through January 31 at Highland Cemetery, Kamper Park Zoo, Duncan Lake, and the 9th Street ballpark.

Please make sure all the decorations are remoced before you recycle the tree.
