Jim durham, vice president of Durham auctions, turned himself into the Forrest county sheriff's office Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say he was served with a five count indictment for felony bad checks, or false pretense by a Forrest county grand jury. Investigators say Durham was also being sought after by Louisiana authorities.
Durham's father, Don, was arrested last month on multiple embezzlement charges stemming from their auction business in South Forrest county. Durham auctions is now in chapter 7 bankruptcy awaiting property assessments to begin paying off outstanding debts.
