Two Hattiesburg motorists were assaulted and their cash was taken earlier tonight in a robbery on a Hub City street. Police say the 2 victims were traveling in the 2000 block of McInnis Loop around 6 p.m. when the rear end of their car was bumped by a dark-colored Chevy Blazer.
When the victims got out of their car, officers say they were approached by 3 black men from the Blazer who robbed them of money and a radio at gunpoint. Both victims were assaulted during the robbery, but were not seriously injured.
The suspects drove from the scene headed towards Broadway Drive. If you have any information about the robbery, call Hattiesburg Police or Metro Crimestoppers at 582-STOP.
