Miss. man dies after police chase in La.

ZACHARY, La. (AP) - Zachary police say a Mississippi man fell,

went into convulsions and died after a 15-minute chase by car and

foot.

Zachary Police Chief John Herty says the East Baton Rouge

Coroner's Office is conducting an autopsy on Randall Earl West Jr.,

who was about 30 and was from Centreville, Miss.

He says the chase began with a call from a driver who had been

hit by a silver vehicle in East Feliciana Parish on Thanksgiving

But he says West was holding a rock of crack cocaine when
