Drug supects' home gutted by arson fire

Jones County authorities say a Saturday night fire that destroyed the mobile home of 2 men who were busted on a drug raid last week was apparently intentionally set.  Jones County fire coordinator Dan McKenna says arson is most likely the cause of a fire that gutted a mobile home on Highway 84 in the SoSo community.

That's the preliminary result of an investigation by McKenna and the State Fire Marshall's Office which began today.

Last Wednesday, 2 men living in the trailer were arrested on drug charges.  Those suspects, 46-year-old Manuel Firro and 30-year-old Hernandez Maya, are still in jail tonight.

McKenna says no motive for the fire has been determined and the case is still under investigation.
