Three students attempt to burn down Lumberton High School November 14, 2008 at 4:40 PM CST - Updated July 3 at 1:30 PM Three Lamar County teenagers are behind bars this afternoon for trying to burn down Lumberton High School. The three, one a current student and another a former student, are charged with arson. Deputies said shortly after 1 a.m., fire was seen coming from the principal's office at the high school. Fire units responded and limited the blaze to the administrative offices. Deputies said the suspects apparently broke out a window and then tossed a molotov cocktail into the principal's office. Despite the damage, classes continued as schdeduled. We'll have more on this story tonight at six.
