Family of accident victim suffers farm fire

The family of a man who died in a tragic farm accident less that two weeks ago has now suffered another tragedy...a fire that burned much of the farm where he was killed.   Jones County fire officials say about 3 acres of land were burned on the Cooper farm in the Union Community this afternoon, when an unattended camp fire got out of control.

That fire also destroyed a barn and some farm equipment.

On October 28th, the farm's owner, Kent Cooper, was killed when a tractor overturned on him while he was bush-hogging on the property.
