Hattiesburg police bust six for prostitution

Hattiesburg police today arrested six employees of an area spa on charges of soliciting sexual favors, a misdemeanor.

The employees of King Spa in the Westwood Square shopping center, two men and four women, were charged around 11 a.m. and released. Each is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 18.

Police said the sting was the result of three months of investigation following complaints from residents. Some of the investigation included undercover work.

This is the second time the business has been busted, police said.
