Three Louisiana residents accused in fatal abduction

Three people are being held without bond on federal kidnapping charges after an alleged abduction in New Orleans that ended in Mississippi with one man dead and another injured.

The three, all from New Orleans, were earlier charged with capital murder by Jackson County authorities following their arrests last week.

Frederick T. Brink, special agent in charge of the FBI in Mississippi, says in a statement that those in custody on are Eddie James Pugh IV, Barron LeCour Borden and Toerenda Andrea Whitmore.  Brink says the three were arrested following an investigation by federal and local authorities and will remain in custody pending a federal detention hearing on Thursday.
