Matthew Emecheta's Biggest Loser Blog - First three weeks

Week One: ITS THE FIRST WEEK OF THE COMPETTION. IVE BEEN SUPER EXCITED ALL WEEK. WHEN I GOT THE CALL THAT I WAS PICKED IT WAS A "AH HA" MOMENT IN MY LIFE. SO IMMEDIATLEY I BEGAN TO WORK OUT AND START MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICES AS FAR AS FOOD GOES. I LOVE THE OTHER CONTESTANTS THEY ALL HAVE GREAT PERSONALITES. THEY ARE A GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE AND I WISH THEM THE BEST OF LUCK. IM STILL WORKING ON GETTING MY SCHEDULE TOGETHER SO THAT I CAN WORK OUT WITH THEM IT JUST MIGHT TAKE ME A COUPLE OF WEEKS TO GET IT ALL FIGURED OUT. I MET WITH PAM EARLY THAT WEEK AND GOT A 2000 CALORIE DIET MEAL PLAN. ITS BEEN PRETTY ROUGH EATING ALL THOSE CALORIES WHEN IM EATING HEALTHY FOOD BUT IT IS OSMETHING I HAVE TO DO. I ALSO MET WITH MATT THE EXERSICE GUY. HE GAVE ME AN AWESOME WORKOUT EVENTHOUGH I FEEL LIKE I GOT THE HARDEST. ITS PROBALBY JUST ME THOUGH..IM EXCITED ABOUT THE UPCOMING WEEKS READY TO GET THAT V.

WEEK 2: ITS THE SECOND WEEK OF THE COMPETTION AND I GAINED A POUND. IT SUCKS. I GAINGED A PUND BEACUSE I DID NOT FOLLOW THE MEAL PLAN NOR THE EXERCISE PLAN. MY THINKING WAS THAT I WOULD DECRESE MY CALORIES AND INCRESE MY WEIGHT TRANING. MY OLDER BROTHER IS TO BLAME FOR ME GAINING WEIGHT THIS WEEK. HE TOLD ME THAT WEIGHT TRAINING WOULD HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT SO I WENT INTO WEIGHT TRAINING MODE THATS ALL I DID FOR THE WHOLE WEEK WAS WEIGHT TRAINING. BUT ITS MAINLY MY FAULT CAUSE I TRIED TO DO MY OWN PLAN. I HAVE A BAD HABBIT OF GETTING INSTRUCTIONS FROM EXPERTS AND TRYING TO RE-ORGANIZE THEM TO MY OWN STANDARDS. IM A NATURAL LEADER WHAT CAN I SAY ITS IN MY BLOOD. I ALSO WENT TO THE DOCTOR THIS WEEK AND HE THINKS THAT I HAVE AN ENLARGED HEART. I HAD TO BE HOOKED U TO AN EKG MACHINE. WHICH FOR SOME ODD REASON I THOUGHT WAS A BRING BACK TO LIFE MACHINE. YOU KNOW WHEN THE RUBS THE TWO THINGS TOGETHER AND SHOCK YOU. SO I STARTED CRYING AND CALLED MY MAMA AND HER EXACT WORDS WERE "MAN UP" SO THATS WHAT IM DOING IM MANING UP.

WEEK 3: WEEK THREE I LOST 4.5 LLBS SOMEWHERE AROUDN THERE. I ATE ALL MY CALORIES AND I JUST DID NOTHING BUT CARDIO. CARDIO GETS YOUR BLOOD PUMPING IT FEELS LIKE YOU ARE IN A RACE WITH YOUR SELF SO YOU GET REALLY MOTIVATED. ALSO THIS WEEK I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT AN MP3 PLAYER. IM VERY CHEAP ITS IN MY BLOOD SO I DID NOT WANT TO BUY IT. BUT AFTER BEING BADGERED MY THE OTHER CONTESTANTS AND KALEB MY PERSONAL TRAINER I WE=ALKED TO WALMART AND BOUGHT ONE. NOW I REALLY FEEL LIKE IM DOING SOMETHIGN IVE BECOME ONE OF THOSE GYM PEOPLE. YOU KNWO THE PEOPLE THAT BRING THIER GYM CLOTHES TO WORK AND HAVE THESE BIG WATER BOTTLES. I USED TO HATE THOSE TYPE OF PEOPLE BUT NOW IVE BECOME ONE. FREINDS SAY MATT YOU WANNA GO OUT FOR DINNER. AND I M SO HAPPY THAT I RESPOND NOPE..;GOTTA WORK OUT...LOL...ITS SO FUNNY TO ME. 'ITS MY CARDIO WEEK". BUT NOW IM IN THIS WEIRD MODE TO WHERE I KNOW IM GONNA WIN IM SO FOCUSED AND I HAVE SO MUCH DETERMINATION. REALLY WILL POWER HAS HELPED ME MY WILL POWER HAS INCREASED SO MUCH THIS WEEK THAT I CAN RIDE BY SONIC AND NOT STOP AND GET A NUMBER 2 WITH MUSTARD NO PICKLE NO TOMATO ADD BACON WITH A ROOTBEER AND SONIC SIZE TOTS $6.53. ITS NO LONGER A TEMPATION TO FOR ME. ITS SOMETHING IVE CONQURED AND IT IS AN AWESOME FEELING. IM SO EXCITED TO BE SURRONDED BY SUCH A GOOD SUPPORT GROUP. WORKING AT DOMINO'S PIZZA MAKES IT HARD TO BE IN THIS COMPETTION BUT MY CO WORKERS(CINDY, BRAD, SHANNA, JANET, NATHAN, RODNEY AND JANET) AND OFFICE SUPPORT TEAM(LYDIA, TAMMY, NICOLE,SONIJA, CALVIN, PENNIE B. AND LAURA) HAVE BEEN SO MUCH HELP FOR ME. ITS AN AWESOME FEELING. I CAN'T WAIT TO SHOW MY BODY OFF. IN THIS COMPETION I REALLY IM FOCUED ON LOOSING ABOUT 60 LLBS AND MY FINAL GOAL FOR NEXT YEAR IS TO BE ROUGHLY 180-200 WITH A SIX PACK AND A "V". LOL
