Pam Carr's Week Four Update

Today Martha Rosado, FG Wellness counselor, spoke to the group about “stress-eating”. It was very informative for everyone. There was a lot of group discussion. This week, I had a lot of contestants that were disappointed in what the scales revealed. I myself was even disappointed because I know how hard these guys are working, and I know that they are following their meal plans. The group for the most part are exercising everyday and for 1.5 to 2 hours daily. I believe that they are not getting enough calories that is required to perform this much exercise which will cause their metabolism to slow down to conserve fuel (engery).  I had initially calculated their weight loss goals based on their adjusted body weight. I have contacted all of them via email to let them know what their new meal plans are. I think that next week we will have better results.
