A recent report says Mississippi is America's fattest state for
the third year in a row, and adult obesity rates across the nation
are climbing steadily despite initiatives to combat the epidemic.
The report says Mississippi's adult obesity rate is 31.7 percent.

There's a new Miss Hospitality in Mississippi. Emma Grace McGrew, of Booneville, was crowned Miss Hospitality 2017 at the Saenger Theater in Hattiesburg.
