Well, I went into school early and got a little work done before I had to leave and do the video. When I was doing my video, I couldn't help but think about how bad I looked (I was dressed workout!).  I  hadn't really thought about everyone seeing it online and on TV... Well, those videos on the NBC Biggest Loser are taken any and every way...  I will dress up next week.  After I did my video, I worked out for 1 ½ hours at the Wellness Center on Arlington.  This was my first time and I really like the one at the LiveWell center.  It's just bigger and has more machines.  However, the locker room here is really nicer...  I still am not really sore, I am feeling the burn of the muscles when I run my quarter mile (.05 here, .10 there-NOT all at once), but the other machines are OK.  I like the TVs they have on each machine at the Wellness Center.  That is one thing about the LiveWell center that I didn't like. You have to change the channel on TVs because they are all on news ALL the time.  I was watching Judge Mathis on one the other day and some guy gets the remote and changes it to the same channel all the rest were on (NEWS), I couldn't believe it.

Everybody has been talking about the Anniversary today.  It is really making me think about where I was when it happened.  I remember being in class and having someone crying behind me because her father was in NYC and she hadn't talked to him, but our professor wouldn't cancel (NONE did all day-can you believe that!).  Anyways, I was working at Subway and had just moved to Hattiesburg about a month before and was weighing around 185 or so.  I remember the clothes I could wear back then...I felt so fat then!  I am about 50 lbs heavier now!  Well, if it took 7 years to put the weight on, I know it will take some time to get off (I am hoping 11 weeks or less J

Well, I just got back from working out at the Wellness center and having our weekly meeting! I got my T-shirts and I LOST 4.4 lbs!!!!!! I am SO excited, a little bummed, but mostly excited.  EVERYBODY lost more than me... But everybody is also bigger than me too.  So if I really bump up the nutrition (hardest thing for me) and keep working out daily, I could lose the 50 lbs I want to before the 12 weeks are over!

I went to work out at the LiveWell Center for 2 hours.  I worked on the elliptical for just a few minutes, it is so hard.  I have to do a minute, rest, do another, rest, etc.  It is really embarrassing.  That is why I like coming in the afternoon and early evening. Not many people are here.  A lot of people are looking at me in the big yellow shirt too.  It is the right size, but reallllllyyyy long  It goes to my knees.  That and my red face make a funny looking combination .

Well, I had to be at work at 8:30 this morning and it was really stressful because it was my first testing.  Everything was brand new and we were filled to capacity, so the room was crowded.  But, I had to pass out every paper they printed, so I logged about 4000 steps before noon. That is really good considering the fact that before I started this contest I was only getting about 6000 a day (pitiful, I know). I am making a conscious effort to park further away and take the stairs instead of the elevator, and my steps have really increased because of it. 

Today was a real test though.  My friend called about 2 p.m. and since the test was over and I was just working on school work, I decided to go eat lunch with her.  I made her go to Applebee's because of their diet menu items, but I messed it all up by getting dessert. We split a brownie with ice cream!! I just had to have it though.  I have been working so hard, and I am so used to rewarding myself with food.  I am trying to break the cycle, but Saturday was a long and hard day for me.  When I don't have time to cook or prepare foods, I always, ALWAYS eat worse than I should.  I have really got to work on making time for myself  in that way.

Today I spent 13 hours at USM.  I had a testing session from 8:30 till 12:30 and I stayed to do homework until my class at 6:30.  I got there at 8 in the morning and left at 9:30 p.m.  And no, I didn't get to work out. I am so upset about that. I had forgotten my workout clothes and had no one to bring them to me.  I walked over to Subway for a salad at lunch and my boyfriend was able to bring me a McDonald's salad after he got off work, right before I went to class.  I made sure that both dressings were fat-free and I didn't have any crackers or croutons with it. I am working on eliminating the cheese, but really a salad isn't a salad without some cheese. I buy the shredded fat-free kind and I find it to be even better than the full-fat kind.  It tastes sharper.

I had full intentions of going to USM and working from 8 this morning until class is over tonight (like I did yesterday), but I couldn't do it.  Instead, I slept later and worked out before the video and showered and dressed up for the camera J But when I was about to go in, I found out I have to wear big ugly (yep the knee knocking shirt).  Oh well, at least my hair looks decent this time J  Anyways, the workout was so good, I needed it really bad considering I had missed three days in a row!  I was on the elliptical machine for 8 minutes today! I got my heart rate to 188, my highest so far!  My top rate is 195, with 220-my age.  I felt like I was going to explode, but it was sooo good.  Again, I could only do two minutes to begin with, and then I did 1 and 2 minute intervals... just as long as I could stand it before resting.  I like using the machine backwards, which is strange Caleb (one of the trainers) says, but still effective.  So I am mixing it up front and backwards just so my legs can handle it.  I saw a girl on it today for thirty minutes.  I just CANNOT imagine.

Today has been pretty good, except for the fact that my phone died during the night, so my alarm didn't go off, so I have been running late all day.  I was only able to work out for 45 minutes at the Live Well Center, and it was INCREDIBLY crowded this morning. I had to go early because of the test I have to give in Long Beach from 1 to 5. When I got dressed this morning, I noticed that my shirt (a fitted baby doll style) was looser around the middle!!!!! That is the biggest thing for me, to lose my stomach... I did good this morning with a fruit and yogurt parfait by Dole for breakfast and a Subway chicken sandwich for lunch. I left the cheese off!!!! Major victory there J  I also used the fat-free honey mustard, which is better to me than mayo and mustard actually. The only thing is that they have the footlong for only $5! I know a great deal considering the 6inch is like 4.29, right????  But I solved that problem because I stopped and gave a skinny hitchhiker the other half.  He thanked me profusely, but my body thanked me as well (a little quieter, but still).
