Wreck kills son of Hancock Co. emergency director

KILN, Miss. (AP) - The Mississippi Highway Patrol says a wreck

Saturday afternoon killed at least one person, a son of Hancock

County's emergency management director.

Corporal Johnny Poulos says the accident occurred about 1:17

p.m. in a hilly stretch of Mississippi 603 about 6½ miles north of


He says troopers don't yet have many details. But he did confirm

that one other person was taken to a hospital, and that the dead

person was a son of Hancock County emergency director Brian Adam.
