JR was just diagnosed with hypertension and diabetes in July. This competition will be a great opportunity for him to lower blood pressure and improve glucose control through weight loss. He eats out a lot due to work schedule and time restrictions with small baby. He is willing to make dietary changes.
I recommended the following: (1)8 c water daily, (2) chew food slowly, (3) don’t skip meals, (4) keep food diary.
JR has been placed on 2200 calorie diet.
JR lost 5.2 lbs this week for a total of 17.6 lbs. He is doing a great job. Today is JR’s birthday! He plans to go out to dinner after our weigh-in meeting is over. It is a good thing that tonight we were discussing healthy menu options. JR is in second place for highest percentage of weight loss. Great job JR and keep up the good work!
