Yolanda started making better food choices once she found out that she had been selected to participate in the biggest loser contest. She drinks at least 8 cups of water daily already. She brings frozen meals with her to work to eat for lunch.
Some of the frozen meals have high sodium intake. She has lost 35 lbs before on a diet program, but she gained the weight back.
She stated "you are looking at the winner." I like her attitude. I recommended the following: (1) continue with current water intake, (2) eat food slowly, (3) keep food diary. (4) Limit daily sodium intake to 2300 mg.
Yolanda has been placed on 1800 calorie diet.
