Hattiesburg car wash to hold fundraiser for animal shelter

Rainforest Car Was in Hattiesburg will be hosting a fundraiser for the Southern Pines Animal Shelter all day on August 22. 

In 2007, Southern Pines Animal Shelter took in over 9,000 animals. Of this number, over 7,000 were euthanized. 

 

Rainforest Car Wash is donating 50 percent of their income for the day to the shelter. The event will include John Force's funny car, food provided by Plaid Rhino and beverages provided by Coca-Cola.

 

They will also be accepting monetary donations as well as the following:

 

towels and sheets; dog toys; dog chews and treats; cat toys; pet carriers; food pans; bleach; laundry detergent; dish liquid; Pine-Sol; cat litter and hoses

    The new Miss Hospitality has been crowned in Hattiesburg.  She is Emma Grace McGrew, 18, of Booneville.
