Bounty hunters track down local felon

The Marion County Sheriff's department has made a big arrest with the help of a bounty hunter team.

Amos Newsome was taken into custody early Thursday morning. He was out on bond for previous charges of burglary, aggravated assault, drive-by shooting, murder and two counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling. However, his bond was revoked after a motion was filed by the state.

Newsome was hiding out at the home of Katrina Martin. She was also arrested after allowing Newsome into her home and lied to law enforcement saying Newsome was not there.

Newsome is not eligible for bond, and Martin is awaiting charges of hindering the apprehension and/or prosecution of a felon.
