Southern Miss sending students to Olympic games

Four University of Southern Mississippi students are getting the chance of a lifetime to volunteer at the 2008 Summer Olympics in China.

The students and their professor, Dan Drane, are partnering with Chinese students to volunteer at the Olympics for two weeks in Beijing.

Drane was asked by Community Collaborations International to supervise 160 volunteers at the Olympics. He said he agreed to volunteer and decided to bring some of his students.

The students will leave for china on August 5, and Drane said they are really excited.
