The Marion County Sheriff's department is still investigating a deadly weekend shooting.

Deputies responded Saturday to a call of shots being fired at 48 Otis Lane. When they arrived on the scene they found a man fatally wounded by a gunshot wound to the head.

Terry Coleman, 48, was taken into custody at that time. Deputies believe an argument may have started earlier over a game of dice.

"The victim of the shooting was a father to one of the young men that was involved in the altercation earlier," said Marion County Sheriff Berkley Hall. "The father rode up there to see what was happening. He was unarmed at the time, and drove up in the truck, and there was a confrontation between him and Mr. Coleman; at which time Mr. Coleman ordered him to leave the yard, and the victim was still sitting in his truck and never exited the truck. Mr. Coleman fired one shot through the windshield, striking Mr. Martin in the head and fatally wounding him."
Authorities have not set a bond for Coleman, and they aren't realeasing details on which jail he's being held.
