Bail set for second suspect in Hattiesburg murder

The second suspect in the shooting death of a local teen made his initial court appearance today.

Charles Devante Harris, 17, was charged with accessory before the fact after appearing before Judge Jolly Mathews this morning. Bail was set at $750,000.

Earlier this week, Harris and Eddie Lee Saunders were arrested in connection with the shooting death along the 100 Block of Abrams Street in Hattiesburg of 17-year-old Charles Moore.

After a standoff that lasted for about an hour. Saunders, peacefully surrendered to police Tuesday.
