PCS eighth-grader killed in automobile accident

An eighth-grade student from Presbyterian Christian High School was killed in a one-vehicle accident on a Louisiana highway Tuesday.

Marrisa McGill, who just completed the eighth grade, was on her way to Dallas, Texas, to meet her father who had just taken a job in that city.

She was traveling with her mother and brother outside of Tallulah, Louisiana, when the mother apparently lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree. The mother and brother were taken to a hospital where they were treated and released.

PPCS students plan to hold a memorial at the school at 11 a.m.
