Sheri Falk joined the WDAM news team in March of 2008 as an anchor/reporter, she anchors News 7 at 6 p.m. as well as News 7 Nightbeat at 10 p.m.
She began her Journalism career behind the scenes in her hometown, Fort Lauderdale, FL working as a Traffic Producer for local radio stations.
While in college, she interned at WPBF News in Palm Beach, then at WTVJ-NBC6 in Miramar, Florida. Following her internship, WTVJ-NBC6 hired her to work in the production Department as a Floor Director. Throughout her tenure at WDAM, Sheri won first and second place for Best Newscast from the Mississippi Associated Press in 2009 and 2010. Sheri holds a BA in Broadcast Journalism from Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL.
In addition to loving the season changes here in South Mississippi, Sheri enjoys being able to bring the latest news around the Pine Belt to you the viewer.
